Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Project Coordinator (Portfolio Management) to drive delivery across North America within a sophisticated, matrixed organization. This role focuses on strategy, governance, and delivery oversight, not people management, and aligns global direction with regional execution.

The team will operate during US hours (14:00–22:00 CEST). You will coordinate program and project delivery, partner with regional leadership, manage stakeholders, and support budgeting and risk discussions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in a global organization.
• Experience in matrixed, global environments.
• Willingness to work US hours 14:00–22:00 CEST.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to influence sponsors and drive consensus.

Responsibilities

• Program and Project delivery for Aon Technology within North America.
• Partners closely with regional leadership and global service owners to strengthen performance and drive impact on key strategic initiatives to ensure goals and benchmarks are achieved.
• Establishes, owns and maintains relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders in support of overall business strategy and PMO Team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to define project priorities, implementation opportunities and challenges and keep them up to date with project risks and delivery.
• Responsible for communicating, translating and driving strategy through projects taking into consideration regional and local aspects
• Responsible for ongoing stakeholder management and engagement around projects delivered within the region
• Serves as a point of escalation for all NA related projects
• Supports project delivery via participation in Steering Committees and driving strategic decisions around project delivery
• Partners with finance and sponsors to ensure projects are supported with business cases
• Drive regional team cohesiveness
• Guides and supports stakeholders via global engagement processes and operating models
