Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Resource & Strategic Projects Director - Transitions to lead complex cross-functional transition initiatives. You will drive projects from initiation to deployment, applying PMP, DMAIC, and Aon methodologies to support the transfer of work to Global Capability Centres or external providers.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering large-scale change in a global, hybrid/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex transition programs across multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and clients.
• Certification in PMP, Prince2 or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition projects from initiation through deployment under PMP, DMAIC and Aon methodologies.
• Ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, scope, and business case objectives.
• Coordinate resources, staffing, and knowledge transfer for successful GCC or third-party transitions.
• Maintain transition documentation, MIS, dashboards, and status reporting to stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration across functions and regions to deliver high-quality outcomes.
