Job summary

Tickmill is seeking an HR Operations Lead to own Poland HR operations end-to-end, including onboarding, contracts, payroll inputs, HRIS data, and compliance. You will collaborate with international teams across Cyprus, the UK, and other locations to ensure scalable, compliant processes.

The role requires a builder mindset, strong HRIS experience, and fluency in Polish and English. You will be on-site in Poland, driving automation and process improvements while serving as the operational backbone

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations or related HR discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of HR operations experience in Poland.
• Experience supporting multiple entities or international HR environments.
• Strong knowledge of Polish labour law, payroll processes, and HR documentation.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data reporting skills.
• Experience designing, documenting, optimizing, and automating HR processes.
• Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR contact for Poland, overseeing onboarding to offboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding, contracts, medical exams, and regulatory registrations.
• Maintain personnel files compliant with Polish law and documentation standards.
• Administer annual leave, sickness, and statutory entitlements under the Labour Code.
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs and liaise with external providers.
• Manage relationships with payroll, legal, HR, and safety vendors in Poland.
• Handle first-line employee relations and HR queries, escalating when needed.
• Coordinate HR operations across Cyprus, UK, Dubai, and other entities to ensure consistency.
• Own HRIS governance, data quality, workflows, and self-service improvements.
• Support compliance audits, GDPR requirements, and data security reviews.
