Job summary

Moderna is seeking a hands-on, impact-driven software/ platform engineer to build and evolve tools that help application teams develop, deploy, and operate software in Warsaw. You’ll collaborate with builders to provide scalable, secure, and user-focused platform capabilities.

This role spans design to production operations, including writing code and automation in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python, and improving CI/CD, infrastructure, and developer experiences across teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related role.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience building and operating solutions in AWS.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain developer tooling (AI agents, generators, libraries, templates, CLIs, and services).
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and reliable software delivery.
• Develop and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Implement and operate shared builder services powering platform experiences.
• Enable AI-assisted development across the platform.
• Partner with application engineers to deliver practical platform solutions.
• Write production-quality code and automation in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Support application teams with infra for services and deployment workflows.
• Improve platform reliability and developer experience through automation.
