Job summary

Moderna Warsaw is expanding its international business services hub, inviting engineers to help advance mRNA technology. You will collaborate with global teams to build platform capabilities, tooling, and secure, scalable deployments that empower developers.

This role focuses on TypeScript/JavaScript and Python development, AWS infrastructure, and CI/CD excellence, with a strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and developer experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related role.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience building and operating solutions in AWS.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems.
• Interest in Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to work across application and platform boundaries to solve developer productivity and delivery problems.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and/or written).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain developer tooling to improve efficiency across teams.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure deployments.
• Develop and manage AWS cloud infrastructure via IaC.
• Operate shared builder services to enhance platform DevOps experience.
• Enable AI-assisted development by integrating tooling into workflows.
• Partner with Builders to identify friction points and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write production-grade code in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
• Support apps with robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to documentation and engineering standards.
