Moderna Warsaw is seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Software Engineer to partner with developers to build secure, scalable platform capabilities that accelerate software delivery. You'll collaborate across cloud, automation, AI-enabled tooling, and platform operations to improve developer experience while delivering modern applications faster, more securely, and with greater reliability.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps or related role.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
Hands-on experience building and operating solutions in AWS.
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems.
Interest in developer tooling, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and secure software delivery.
Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, code review, version control, and system design.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing team priorities and contribute across a range of platform engineering responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve automation powering Moderna’s internal developer platform using Python, TypeScript, GitHub Actions, Pulumi, Docker, AWS, JFrog, and vendor APIs.
Collaborate with application engineering teams to migrate workloads onto standardized, secure platform capabilities.
Support migration and ongoing management of DevOps tooling, onboarding repositories, validating platform behavior, and documenting remediation paths.
Design and maintain developer remote workspace infrastructure, templates, container configurations, base images, tooling, and onboarding docs.
Improve platform reliability and reduce operational toil via monitoring, dashboards, runbooks, and automation.
Develop internal documentation and guidance to enable consistent adoption of platform capabilities.
Identify recurring challenges and improve shared frameworks, templates, automation, and tooling to boost productivity.
Participate in operational support for owned services while automating repetitive tasks.
Help expand AI-assisted software development by integrating MCP-style capabilities and AI agents.
Contribute across the full software lifecycle from design to production operations.
