Job summary

Moderna Warsaw hub is seeking a hands-on software/platform engineer to build and evolve developer tools, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure. You will work with Builders to deliver scalable, secure platform capabilities and accelerate delivery across the organization.

You will contribute to internal services, tooling, and infrastructure-as-code patterns, helping multiple engineering teams move faster with reliable, well-documented standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related role.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience building and operating solutions in AWS.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems.
• Interest/familiar with using Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, code review, version control, and system design.
• Ability to work across application and platform boundaries to solve developer productivity and delivery problems.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and/or written) required due to global collaboration needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain developer tooling that improve developer efficiency and establish standardized paths.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe software delivery.
• Develop and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC with focus on security and maintainability.
• Implement and operate shared builder services powering platform developer and DevOps experience.
• Enable AI-assisted development across the platform and improve developer experience with AI tools.
• Collaborate with application engineers to deliver practical platform solutions adopted across teams.
• Write production-quality code and automation in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Support application teams with infra for services, environments, and deployment workflows.
• Improve platform reliability and observability through automation and sensible defaults.
