Job summary

Planet is a global provider of integrated technology and payments solutions for retail and hospitality customers. The role sits in the Merchant Implementation Team within Planet Operations and focuses on enabling payments for customers by configuring, testing, deploying, documenting and supporting Planet solutions.

You will work to fully enable products, test remotely, liaise with Merchants and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery, accurate configuration, and correct billing models

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the integrated payments world.
• Well organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent team collaboration skills.
• Experience in payments, POS or Tax Free sectors is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Fully enable and configure Planet products and solutions.

Role overview:

You will play a crucial role in the Merchant Implementation Team within Planet Operations. The mission of our Gateway Onboarding Specialist is to enable payments for our customers by activities like - prepare, configure, test, deploy, document and support payment solutions sold by Planet.

What you will do:

• Fully enable and configure any Planet products and solutions
• Test and troubleshoot Planet products and solutions remotely
• Liaise with Merchants and other departments to enable solutions delivery on time and to the correct build specification
• Ensure solutions are configured to the correct standards
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information
• Liaise with other departments to review contracts to ensure correct configuration and billing models provided
• Create tickets from contracts and other source materials for the enablement team to action
• Provide internal or external technical advice about Planet solutions
• Follow up, analyze and report the status of the installed solutions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the best service and experience for the customers we serve
• Work with an openness to take on new tasks and challenges as they present themselves within the position
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
