Job summary

VELUX Group in Warsaw is seeking an Intern, Order to Cash to gain practical experience in finance, accounting and customer support. You will assist with credit checks, maintain customer master data and help resolve invoicing queries while collaborating with Sales and Customer Service.

This role offers real on-the-job learning with SAP and ServiceNow, requires attention to detail, basic Excel skills and strong English, and provides a supportive team environment for developing your finance career.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic analytical and Excel skills, such as sorting, filtering and using simple formulas.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of German will be a plus.
• Ability to organize your work, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with guidance.
• Willingness to learn new systems and tools, such as SAP and ServiceNow.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in performing credit checks, obtaining credit assurance and maintaining credit and financial master data for customers where relevant.
• Monitor shared mailboxes and route incoming requests to the appropriate team members.
• Support the review of customer open items and identify items requiring further investigation.
• Help resolve basic customer queries related to invoices and payments.
• Support overdue invoice collection activities and coordinate with external collection agency if needed.
• Investigate invoicing queries/payment deductions from customers; identify need for credit notes, refunds or minor write-offs.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to obtain information required for issue resolution.
• Prepare and update process documentation and work instructions under the guidance of experienced team members.
