Forto in Poland is seeking an Operations Specialist (f/m/d) to join a four-person team and own Sea Freight and Rail Import processes while supporting Export as needed. Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical experience in Sea Freight operations with a deep focus on Import.
• Ability to adapt and flexibly support Export operations in a dynamic team.
• Fluent Polish and good English for cross-functional international communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of shipments from booking to invoicing for Import and Export.
• Advise and support clients throughout the logistics process with a solution-oriented approach.
• Coordinate with customs, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and document manual quotations accurately for compliant execution.
• Leverage data analysis to monitor processes and drive quality improvements.

About The Role

As an Operations Specialist (f/m/d), you will join our dedicated team of four in Poland to drive high-quality transport execution. Your mission is to own and optimize Sea Freight and Rail Import processes while maintaining the agility to flexibly support Export business as part of our collaborative structure. This role is ideal for an operational expert who thrives in a close-knit, high-performing team and is passionate about combining freight forwarding precision with digital-first logistics and AI-supported features while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of shipments from booking to invoicing for Import and Export.
• Advise and support clients throughout the entire logistics process with a solution-oriented approach.
• Communicate and coordinate seamlessly with key partners including customs, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and document manual quotations accurately and efficiently to ensure compliant execution.
• Leverage data analysis to monitor customer processes and proactively drive quality enhancements.
