Job summary

Learning Network seeks an Instructional Manager to empower educators in a digital K‑12 environment. You will coach teachers, monitor engagement, and drive student outcomes through proactive outreach and meaningful feedback.

You will lead a team of teachers and paraprofessionals, ensuring high instructional quality, accountability, and family partnerships, while traveling for proctoring as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field (required).
  • Teacher certification and an approved teacher preparation program (required).
  • Ability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other states as may be assigned (required).
  • 5+ years of successful work experience in education, educational technology, or a related industry (required).
  • 5+ years of successful experience serving students, families, customers, or other stakeholders in a service-oriented environment (required).
  • 3+ years of experience managing people (required).

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop educators into confident, highly effective professionals who embody our standards of service, responsiveness, and instructional excellence.
  • Monitor team-level student engagement, progress, retention, and intervention data, identifying trends early and mobilizing effective support.
  • Observe instruction, assess teacher effectiveness, and provide clear, actionable coaching to sharpen delivery and outcomes.
  • Lead with precision in instructional execution, student engagement, progress monitoring, and intervention planning.
  • Set high expectations, coach candidly, celebrate wins, and foster a culture of ownership and service.
  • Serve students, families, and colleagues with professionalism, integrity, and a white-glove mindset.
  • Lead and inspire a team of teachers and paraprofessionals with warmth, clarity, and high expectations.
  • Conduct frequent 1:1 coaching sessions focused on teacher growth and accountability to standards.
  • Observe live instruction, review outreach practices, and coach toward stronger engagement and relationships.
  • Ensure instructional quality, student progress, and communication practices to ensure excellence.
  • Partner directly with students and families during escalations to rebuild trust and drive outcomes.
  • Develop performance improvement plans when standards are not met with candor and accountability.
  • Facilitate team meetings, training, and professional development to raise practice standards.
  • Build systems, playbooks, and tools to improve consistency and efficiency.
