Job summary

Vestas Travelling Service Technician - Offshore (Evergreen) from Szczecin, Poland, will work on WTGs under Service O&M, performing maintenance, upgrades and component exchanges in a global offshore fleet. The role involves a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off travel pattern and requires permanent residency in Poland.

Ideal candidates hold a marine engineer or technical degree with 5+ years in wind/offshore environments, fluent English, driving license, and strong teamwork with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with electrical or mechanical systems in wind, offshore, or HV environments.
• Relevant wind turbine experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings for fault-finding and maintenance.
• Motivation to learn new skills and thrive in a growing industry with an improvement mindset.
• Proficient in the use of various hand tools.
• Effective communication skills that enhance teamwork on offshore sites.
• Comfortable working offshore and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe work practice by acting in compliance with Vestas HSE requirements
• Ensuring own P.P.E checks are done, and monthly check sheets are logged
• Daily communication with Service Managers, SP Supervisors, and Project Managers
• Identifying, registering, and coordinating deviations
• Trouble shooting of electrical and mechanical systems and fault diagnosis
• Registration of time and material consumption in Vestas systems
• Carry out the maintenance, repair and replacement activities of turbine components
