Your Role: As an O2C Customer Service Intern with French, you will work directly with customers to process orders, manage billing, and handle customer service queries. You will support the Order to Cash process by ensuring accurate and efficient order processing, contributing to a positive customer experience, and collaborating with internal business partners and team members.
Your Responsibilities
- Order & Complaint Management: Effectively process all manual orders received by phone, fax, and email, ensuring priority for urgent orders within agreed KPIs and delivering a positive customer experience.
- Customer Service: Effectively process customer complaints and collaborate with other company departments when applicable.
- Billing & Order Management: Manage and support the billing process. Effectively monitor and resolve sales orders and sales interface issues (Idocs).
- Process Expertise & Business Partnership: Support local O2C projects that influence accurate, efficient, and compliant order processing.
- Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to existing processes or solutions and demonstrate a continuous improvement-oriented mindset.
- Teamwork & Stakeholder Engagement: Work effectively with team members, internal customers, business partners, and LSP team members to build strong working relationships.
- Customer Experience: Focus on improving our customers’ experience with the ESC and demonstrate good interactions with ESC internal customers and business partners.
- Compliance & Documentation: Demonstrate a compliance-oriented mindset, help build a compliance culture, and become familiar with applicable process documentation and training materials to ensure fully compliant operations.
- Product Knowledge: Build and maintain knowledge of Elanco’s product lines within the assigned market.
- Task Management: Complete tasks within established procedures under a moderate or limited degree of supervision.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- University degree or ongoing university studies.
- Proficient English and French is mandatory.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to work in a global team environment and communicate effectively with internal business partners, other disciplines, and team members from other departments.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of Outlook, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Knowledge of additional languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian.
- Experience in a start-up or dynamic environment.
- Experience in direct contact with customers, including communication by phone and email.
