Job summary

MAHLE GmbH in Wrocław, Poland, invites experienced procurement professionals to join our services department in logistics. You will lead indirect purchasing, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-saving initiatives across regional and global sourcing efforts.

We seek candidates with strong negotiation skills, experience in Freight & Logistics or related areas, and willingness to travel 1–2 times monthly to Czech locations. Flexible work schedule and home office options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in indirect procurement or purchasing.
• Sourcing experience in Freight & Logistics, Material Handling Equipment, Consulting Services, Machine Spare Parts, or Packaging.
• University degree in business/economics/engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
• Willingness to travel to Czech locations 1–2 times per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RFQs for national and regional material groups in line with category strategies.
• Manage sourcing activities and supplier relationships for assigned indirect categories.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis and benchmarking.
• Support implementation of regional and global sourcing strategies.
• Coordinate supplier performance, capacity constraints, and risk mitigation activities.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure continuity of supply.
• Drive supplier development, innovation initiatives, and process improvements.
• Maintain purchasing master data and support change management activities.

Your contribution:

• Conduct RFQs for national and regional material groups in line with category strategies

Your Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in indirect procurement or purchasing
• Proven sourcing experience in at least one of the following areas: Freight & Logistics, Material Handling Equipment, Consulting Services, Machine Spare Parts, or Packaging
• Advanced Czech and English language skills (Polish is an advantage)
• SAP knowledge, Ariba would be an additional advantage
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and new solutions
• Willingness to travel to Czech locations 1-2 times per month
