Job summary

MAHLE in Wrocław seeks a Purchasing Business Intelligence Specialist to transform purchasing and logistics data into insights and reporting solutions that support MAHLE's global organization. You will develop Power BI solutions within the Analytics & Reporting team, contributing to process mining, digitalization, and AI-driven initiatives.

You will design dashboards, transform data from multiple sources, collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into meaningful reporting,

Qualifications

• Experience creating Power BI dashboards and reports for business users.
• Strong data modelling, transformation and reporting best practices knowledge.
• Proficiency in Power BI tools: DAX, Power Query, visualization design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to turn data into insights.
• Effective communication across international and cross-functional teams.
• Professional working English; SAP and MS 365 experience is a plus.

Your Contribution

In this role, you will transform purchasing and logistics data into meaningful insights and reporting solutions that support decision-making across MAHLE's global organization.
You will be part of the Analytics & Reporting team within Purchasing, developing Power BI solutions while contributing to broader analytics initiatives involving process mining, digitalization, and AI-driven technologies.

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and applications that support global purchasing and business needs.
• Transform complex data from multiple sources into clear, user-friendly insights and visualizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into meaningful reporting solutions.
• Build and optimize data models, measures, and data preparation processes to ensure reliable reporting.
• Manage and maintain Power BI workspaces, data connections, access rights, and security settings.
• Identify opportunities for new dashboards, analytics tools, and AI-enabled solutions that create business value.
• Support continuous improvement by troubleshooting issues, sharing best practices, and documenting delivered solutions.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Experience creating Power BI dashboards, reports, or data visualization solutions for business users.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data transformation, and reporting best practices.
• Proficiency in Power BI tools, including DAX, Power Query, and visualization design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across international and cross-functional teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English; experience with SAP, Microsoft 365 applications, external data sources, or purchasing and supply chain processes would be an advantage
