Job summary
Watlow in Poland is seeking a Sourcing Manager - NPI & NPD to lead project sourcing for new product introductions across Europe. Based in Lędziny, this on-site role requires coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure early involvement and successful transitions to serial production.
The role blends strategic supplier selection with hands-on execution across RFQs, cost analysis, supplier development and regional travel, with a 4‑day office, 1‑day home office
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sourcing, procurement or supply chain experience.
- Strong RFQ, cost analysis, negotiation and supplier selection skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
- Fluent English and Polish language abilities.
- Willingness to travel regionally and globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing activities for NPI/NPD projects from prototyping to serial production.
- Partner with Engineering, Product Development, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain.
- Identify and develop suppliers for new products and localization projects.
- Lead RFQs, negotiations and supplier selection with BOM and NRE costs.
- Drive material availability for prototypes and expediting as needed.
- Manage supplier performance and smooth transition into production.
- Build strong supplier relationships and drive cost reduction opportunities.
