Job summary

Westwing is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager - Nordics to own end-to-end delivery and returns performance across the region from Robakowo, Poland. You will build carrier partnerships, negotiate rate cards, and enforce SLAs while leading one regional Coordinator in a hands-on, field-focused role.

You will develop AI-driven workflows and SQL data models to automate tracking, auditing, and alerts, spending about one third of your time in the field and traveling regionally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in last mile, transportation, or e-commerce logistics.
• Recognised depth in home delivery networks and complex returns operations.
• Advanced proficiency in self-served analytics (SQL, BI tools).
• Experience building AI agent workflows and task automations.
• Willingness to travel ~33% regionally to inspect depots and ride-alongs.
• Strong collaboration with Customer Care and proven leadership.
• Excellent commercial acumen and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English; Nordic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery and returns performance across the region to ensure a premium customer experience.
• Build and maintain carrier partnerships; lead tenders, rate-card negotiations, SLA enforcement, and data-driven reviews.
• Spend ~1/3 of time in the field conducting ride-alongs, auditing hubs, and investigating root causes on-site.
• Develop and deploy AI agents, automated workflows, and SQL data models for tracking, auditing, and alerts.
• Partner with Customer Care to establish joint Voice of the Customer routines and KPIs.
• Lead and develop one Last Mile Coordinator and drive network innovations like PUDO and reverse logistics.
