Job summary

HOK Consulting - Technical Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced Network Security SME to join a global cybersecurity engineering team. You will support the design, review, and continuous improvement of enterprise network security controls within a highly regulated banking environment.

Based in Poland with a hybrid work model (6 days per month travel to Warsaw or Krakow), you will lead security initiatives, review firewall designs, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Strong experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and proxy solutions.
• Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, and network protocol analysis.
• Experience reviewing firewall policies, security designs, and network architecture.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and security documentation.
• Cloud security experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
• Experience in banking or other highly regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities
