Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków requires an experienced Network Security SME to join our Cybersecurity Technology Engineering team. The role involves hybrid work, collaborating with a diverse team, and contributing to strategic security initiatives that protect the organization’s assets.

You will lead security programs, advise senior leadership, and maintain comprehensive security documentation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in network security, strong English, and certifications such as

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity.
• Extensive understanding of cybersecurity controls and industry trends.
• Proficiency with cybersecurity technologies such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, and proxies.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and protocol analysis tools.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP/CISA/CISM or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic security initiatives to strengthen network defenses.
• Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date security documentation and review firewall rules.
• Identify gaps in security controls and support remediation plans.
• Offer advanced technical guidance on complex network solutions, cryptography, and data security projects.
• Ensure compliance with global cybersecurity standards and promote best practices.
• Lead risk assessment activities and develop risk management plans.
• Collaborate with the Business as part of the first line of defense to monitor IT security risk profiles.
• Engage with regional and global cybersecurity stakeholders to address security concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
