Job summary

Astreya is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team responsible for keeping a large-scale, globally distributed network reliable and ready for what’s next.

You’ll engage at the intersection of network operations, infrastructure lifecycle management, lab engineering, and automation, building processes and tooling that make network operations more efficient and repeatable while lowering risk during changes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in a production network environment.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise or large-scale network infrastructure.
• Experience with Juniper, Cisco, Arista or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the lifecycle of network infrastructure hardware, software, firmware, and platform versions.
• Plan and execute network lifecycle initiatives across distributed infrastructure.
• Develop rollout strategies that minimize operational risk and service disruption.
• Create and maintain runbooks, procedures, technical documentation, and operational guides.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
