Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED seeks an Expert IT Network Engineer to take technical ownership of the corporate network infrastructure, defining architecture, standards, and roadmaps while driving automation and cloud networking initiatives across Global IT.

You will lead complex infrastructure projects, mentor engineers, and act as escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available networking solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing and operating complex enterprise network environments.
• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, SD-WAN, segmentation, and 802.1X/NAC.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Strong experience with network automation and IaC using Ansible, Python, Terraform or similar.
• Cloud/hybrid networking architectures in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Understanding of network security, resiliency, high availability, monitoring and capacity planning.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives and influencing multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve corporate network architecture across LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud environments.
• Define network engineering standards, reference architectures, and technical roadmap.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Drive network automation and IaC practices using Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar.
• Lead technical evaluations, architecture reviews, and cross‑team initiatives.
• Act as escalation point for incidents, driving root cause analysis and improvements.
• Mentor engineers and maintain architecture documentation and standards.
