Job summary

ALTEN Polska in Kraków, a European leader in engineering and IT services, seeks an experienced mechanical design engineer for automotive electronics projects. You will design with Siemens NX (NX 11/12), manage data in Teamcenter, apply GD&T across components, and collaborate with international teams from concept through design validation.

This is a full-time hybrid role (2 days home office) with long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens NX (NX 11/NX 12) in mechanical product design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive industry, preferably within automotive electronic hardware design.
• Strong experience in plastic and die-cast component design.
• Practical knowledge of Teamcenter (PLM).
• Practical knowledge and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Strong team-oriented attitude and excellent collaboration skills.
• Experience in automotive-size product development is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and products for Automotive applications using Siemens NX.
• Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and technical documentation.
• Design plastic and die-cast parts according to project and manufacturing requirements.
• Manage product data and engineering documentation within Teamcenter.
• Apply GD&T principles throughout the design and documentation process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, workshops, and key project meetings.
• Support product development activities from concept through design validation.
