Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an Industrial Engineering/MES specialist to support MES deployment across manufacturing operations in Niemce, Poland. The role focuses on defining manufacturing requirements, coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance and IT, and driving MES integration with shop-floor systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Digitalization projects.
• Hands-on mindset and strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production flows and shop-floor operations.
• Experience in MES implementation, process digitalization or manufacturing system deployment projects.
• Experience working within cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to analyze production data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple implementation activities simultaneously.
• Good communication skills in English.

• Monitor and troubleshoot machine performance and initiate corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Support project planning, documentation and implementation follow-up activities.
• Assist with user training and operational readiness activities.

WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

• Support MES deployment and rollout activities across manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing transformation projects.
• Knowledge of production traceability, genealogy, performance monitoring and manufacturing data management.
• Experience with ERP-to-MES and shop-floor system integration.
• Experience integrating manufacturing equipment and production systems into MES environments.
• Familiarity with manufacturing databases and basic data investigation techniques.
• Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and verification of production transactions, interface messages and manufacturing data.
• Experience with SOAP/Web Services and/or REST APIs.
• Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing or high-volume production environments.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience working with external suppliers and system integrators.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
