Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an industrial/vehicle design professional to work in Kraków on hybrid terms within the automotive sector. You will shape design concepts, develop styling and sketches, and coordinate with multiple departments to drive design solutions from concept to realization.

The role requires experience with Alias, Blender, VRED and Adobe Creative Suite, plus 3D modeling basics and an understanding of industrial design processes.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in industrial design, transportation design, vehicle design or comparable qualification.
• Experience in design environment, preferably automotive/commercial vehicle sector.
• Experience using design/visualization tools such as Alias, Blender, VRED and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and technical contexts.
• Understanding of design/development processes in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Create and elaborate design concepts for vehicle scopes and solutions in the commercial vehicle environment.
• Develop styling/design concepts considering ergonomic, functional and technical requirements.
• Create sketches and 2D/3D designs, plus visualizations to present ideas.
• Coordinate design solutions with development, construction, ergonomics, marketing, homologation and other specialists.
• Integrate design requirements into technical implementation processes with the design department.
• Create design guidelines and standards.
• Evaluate and select materials, surfaces and colour concepts.

WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

• Creation and elaboration of design concepts for individual vehicle scopes and solutions in the commercial vehicle environment
• Development of styling and design concepts taking into account ergonomic, functional and technical requirements
• Creation of sketches, 2D/3D designs and visualizations to represent Design ideas
• Coordination of design solutions with development, construction, ergonomics, marketing, Homologation and other specialist areas
• Integration of design requirements into technical implementation processes in close cooperation with the design department
• Creation of design guidelines and standards
• Evaluation and selection of materials, surfaces and colour concepts

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

• Completed studies in the field of industrial design, transportation design, vehicle design or comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in the design environment, ideally in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector
• Experience in using design and visualization tools (e.g. Alias, Blender, VRED, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and technical contexts
• Understanding of design and development processes in an industrial environment

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with analyzer house design and specifications.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and procedures.
• Experience participating in FATs, inspections, and vendor management activities.
• Additional foreign language skills.
