Job summary

MTU Aero Engines AG in Poland seeks a forecast analytics professional to define market assumptions and project engine demand. You will forecast fleet development and sales figures with Excel, prepare progress reports, and help advance methods and data tools to quickly assess contract profitability. Fluency in Business English is required.

• Completed studies in aerospace, engineering, business, business informatics, economics or comparable training.
• Transparent handling of large quantities of numbers following defined assumptions.
• Confident appearance and good presentation skills.
• Fluent in Business English.

Responsibilities

• Definition of market assumptions and their implications on future engine demand together with key stakeholders.
• Forecasting of fleet development, shop visits and sales as well as other key figures using Excel.
• Preparation of reporting documentation on the progress and results of the forecast analysis.
• Actively support development of methods, tools and databases to provide prompt answers to profitability questions of contracts.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY :

• Definition of market assumptions and their implications on future engine demand together with key stakeholders
• Forecasting of fleet development, shop visits and sales as well as other key figures using Excel
• Preparation of reporting documentation on the progress and results of the forecast analysis
• Actively support further development of methods, tools and databases to provide prompt answers to questions about the profitability of contracts

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed studies (university/university of applied sciences) in aerospace, engineering, business, business informatics, economics or comparable business and technical training
• Transparent handling large quantities numbers, following the process and agreed assumptions
• Confident appearance and good presentation skills
• Fluent in Business English
• IT: Very good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel. Basic knowledge of working with programming code Python
• Knowledge on aero engines and the aftermarket business models is a plus
