Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Poland to drive continuous improvement in welding, brazing and fabrication processes.

You will design and optimize equipment layouts, develop test methods, and ensure manufacturability while controlling costs in a highly regulated aerospace/military environment. The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering with 6-8 years in manufacturing engineering, including TIG welding of Aluminum/Inconel and vacuum brazing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent required.
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering with welding and vacuum brazing experience.
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and brazing of pressure-containing products.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (Military/Aerospace/Nuclear/Automotive).
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Apply lean manufacturing and other continuous improvement methods to improve quality, reliability, or cost.
• Design, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve products using fabrication knowledge and production processes.
• Design testing methods and validate process capabilities.
• Layout equipment/workspaces for maximum efficiency.
• Review product designs for manufacturability and prepare documentation for new processes.
• Evaluate products against specifications and quality standards; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop sustainable manufacturing technologies and analyze financial impacts.
• Provide technical manufacturing support and develop standard work instructions.
