Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Siechnice seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Special Process to plan and design product applications and machinery for weld, braze, clean, and heat treat processes. The role focuses on creating efficient, compliant manufacturing methods for heat exchanger components.

You will drive lean manufacturing, design equipment, and develop standard work while collaborating with engineering, quality, and production to improve quality and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering with welding and vacuum brazing.
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and/or brazing of pressure-containing products.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (Military, Aerospace, Nuclear, Automotive) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Apply lean methods to improve quality, reliability, or cost, using root-cause analysis.
• Design, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs via fabrication processes and tooling.
• Design testing methods and validate process capabilities.
• Layout equipment/workspaces for maximum efficiency.
• Review designs for manufacturability and prepare documentation.
• Evaluate products against specifications and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop sustainable manufacturing technologies and analyze financial impacts.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing.
• Develop and implement standard work instructions.
• Utilize AI tools to improve productivity and cost reduction.
