Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Poland seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead OpEx initiatives that boost productivity, reduce costs, and strengthen working capital.

You will partner with business leaders to identify opportunities, align projects with strategy, and drive execution through measurable results. The role requires hands-on Lean/Six Sigma expertise, strong cross-functional influence, and the ability to deploy Kaizen, 5S, and visual management while developing training programs and sustaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Operational Excellence or related field.
• Experience with TPS, Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma in manufacturing or services.
• Able to lead change and work in a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, quality, and regulatory environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and business systems.
• Experience with CAD/CAM or layout software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Excellence across campus and units in alignment with AMETEK goals.
• Identify and execute improvement projects to boost productivity, quality, safety, and cost.
• Partner with leaders to validate savings and report monthly OpEx impact.
• Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, daily management, and 5S/SMED practices.
• Develop OpEx training programs and coach staff to build capability.
• Support facility layout, equipment upgrades, and production efficiency.
• Collaborate across units to embed Lean thinking as a work culture.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and performance tracking.
• Perform additional duties supporting business needs.
