Job summary

Stemmann Polska, part of Wabtec, located in Kąty Wrocławskie, seeks a Supply Chain professional to optimize internal logistics, lead Lean and system projects, and ensure WMS functionality with process standardization.

You will partner with Production, Procurement, Quality and Warehouse Operations to drive inventory accuracy, cost optimization, and data-driven decisions; provide guidance to logistics teams; support transportation planning and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within international transportation, customs clearance, and transport route planning.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and transportation documentation, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with carriers and logistics service providers.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supporting logistics and warehouse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent in both Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, and optimize internal logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead logistics process improvement, Lean, digitalization, and system implementation projects.
• Maintain and continuously improve warehouse management system (WMS) structures and functionality.
• Provide expert support for inventory management, stock reclassification, and scrapping processes.
• Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Promote and implement a data-driven culture within the logistics organization.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Quality, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Support transportation planning and logistics execution while maintaining compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives and contribute to achieving business objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to logistics teams to maintain high levels of service and performance.
