Job summary

Stemmann Polska, part of Wabtec Corporation, is seeking a Supply Chain professional to join the logistics team and optimize internal processes across warehouse and transportation operations.

You will lead Lean initiatives, standardize processes, and ensure robust WMS/ERP functionality while collaborating with Production, Procurement, and Quality to drive inventory accuracy and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and transportation documentation and best practices.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers.
• Experience leading or mentoring logistics and warehouse teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Fluent in Polish and English; Excel skills required.

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of the Supply Chain organization and will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Procurement, Quality, and Warehouse Operations to drive logistics excellence, improve operational performance, and support strategic supply chain initiatives.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for optimizing internal logistics processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and transportation operations. You will lead process implementation, Lean, and system-related projects, while ensuring effective warehouse management system (WMS) functionality and process standardization. This role plays a key part in supporting inventory accuracy, cost optimization, and operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and proactive process development. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that enhance supply chain performance.

What do we want to know about you?

• Master's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within international transportation, customs clearance, and transport route planning.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and transportation documentation, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with carriers and logistics service providers.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supporting logistics and warehouse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent in both Polish and English.

• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Quality, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Support transportation planning and logistics execution while maintaining compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives and contribute to achieving business objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to logistics teams to maintain high levels of service and performance.
