Alstom, a global leader in rail transport solutions, invites experienced logistics professionals to optimize material planning, inventory and procurement across complex supply chains. This role collaborates with procurement, suppliers, subcontractors, transport companies, and customs agencies to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

You will analyze stock levels, manage MRP parameters, create purchase orders, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating across functions and countries.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a Technical field.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical abilities with clear communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to perform under tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Managing material demand and ensuring material availability, including follow-up on missing or delayed parts.
• Maintaining and optimizing planning parameters such as MRP controllers, logistics and purchasing flows, planning strategies, ABCD classification, inventory counting parameters, batch sizes, and valuation types.
• Analyzing stock levels and performing regular inventory reviews to ensure optimal inventory performance.
• Defining, implementing, and managing logistics specifications in collaboration with vendors.
• Creating and managing purchase orders, scheduling agreements with delivery schedules, repair orders, and related amendments.
• Supporting forecasting activities and coordinating needs expressions and delivery follow-up.
• Collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, transport companies, and customs agencies to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Managing customs clearance activities when required, including Intrastat data reporting
• Preparing regular reports and updating logistics KPIs to support performance tracking and continuous improvement
