Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage international shipping, customs procedures, and Intrastat reporting. You will coordinate sea freight, verify supplier documents, and prepare RFQs to optimize transport costs.

The role requires strong negotiation and stakeholder management, with a focus on timely project execution and collaboration across teams in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in international logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
• Excellent knowledge of Incoterms.
• Experience in organizing and coordinating sea freight transportation.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and import/export documentation.
• Experience with Intrastat reporting.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with SAP (SAP ECHO would be an advantage).
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and transport providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and certificates of origin.
• Verify supplier documentation, including packing specifications and transport documentation.
• Organize transportation activities in line with project schedules.
• Coordinate shipments between suppliers, freight forwarders, and clients.
• Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs) for transport and logistics services.
• Analyze and compare supplier offers from both technical and commercial perspectives.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with transportation and logistics service providers.
• Arrange and monitor customs clearance processes.
• Prepare and submit Intrastat reports.
• Track transportation costs and delivery progress.
• Handle claims related to transport performance and shipment damage.
• Participate in project team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
