Job summary

Acolad is seeking an experienced Vendor Coordinator to join our global localisation network. You will identify, onboard and manage freelance and agency vendors, collaborating with Production teams on media and entertainment projects.

You will build strong vendor relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance of data and legal documents while staying current with industry trends in subtitling, dubbing, and AI localisation.

Qualifications

• University degree in Translation, AV Translation or related discipline.
• At least 3 years vendor management experience in a media/entertainment localisation environment.
• Strong knowledge of market rates across subtitling, dubbing, access services and AI localisation.
• Experience recruiting resources for AI localisation services (AI dubbing/subtitling, lip manipulation).

Responsibilities

• Lead the search, selection and recruitment of freelance and agency vendors globally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors.
• Coordinate vendor testing, evaluation and feedback.
• Collect and negotiate rates, rate cards and project-specific quotes.
• Ensure vendor data and legal documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor vendor performance and provide regular reporting.
• Support Production teams on projects as a localisation subject matter expert.
• Negotiate competitive terms with external vendors.
• Support development and mentoring of new team members.
• Stay up to date with developments across media, entertainment, technology and localisation.
