Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Localisation Specialist (Translator) to bring Revolut to French-speaking customers and ensure content is truly localised and culturally relevant. You will adapt a wide range of content (app, website, emails) to French while preserving the brand voice, quality standards, and deadlines within a fast-growing global fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French (native level) and English.
• A Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years localization/translation experience.
• Excellent writing, editorial, and reviewing skills.
• Experience writing creative and engaging content.
• Ability to adapt to a specified tone of voice and brand messaging.

• Ensuring daily volume expectations are met
• Adapting long-term strategic brand, tone, and vision to local markets, cultural differences, and perceptions

• Contributing to live translation updates, maintaining the brand's tone of voice and strategic messaging that aligns to wider company goals

We’re looking for a Localisation Specialist (Translator) to help us bring Revolut to French-speaking customers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our content isn't just translated, but truly localised and culturally relevant to the market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Copying HTML content
• Delivering high-quality copy adapted in your target language (transcription) for all types of content produced (app, website, emails, etc.)
• Ensuring daily volume expectations are met
• Adapting long-term strategic brand, tone, and vision to local markets, cultural differences, and perceptions
• Suggesting long-term strategic content projects
• Contributing to live translation updates, maintaining the brand's tone of voice and strategic messaging that aligns to wider company goals

What You'll Need

• Fluency in French (native level)
• Fluency in English
• A bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience in localisation/translations, translating content in a similar field
• Excellent writing, editorial, and reviewing skills
• Experience writing creative and engaging content
• A joy for working in the intersection of copy and transcreation
• Expertise adapting to a specified tone of voice and with brand-led strategic messaging
• A data-driven approach and awareness of the importance of appropriately quantifying your work
• Team player abilities with experience collaborating across functions
• Great self-organisation skills to keep cool when working to tight deadlines
