Job summary

CoreWeave in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Hardware Engineer, Liquid Cooling, to own the liquid cooling infrastructure from rack to facility interface. You will automate the hardware lifecycle, develop management services, and build monitoring for pumps, valves, and sensors.

You will partner with facilities teams, server OEMs, and cooling vendors to qualify platforms, resolve issues, and handle regional thermal escalations. English required; on-call rotations apply.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in hardware, infrastructure, thermal, or platform engineering roles within data centre, cloud, or high-performance computing environments.
• Hands-on experience with in-rack CDUs (Coolant Distribution Units), liquid-to-air heat exchangers, or remote cooling units.
• Solid understanding of data centre thermal design principles, coolant types, thermal transfer mechanisms, and leak detection methods.
• In-depth knowledge of server hardware, components, and fleet management technologies.
• Proficiency in Python or Ansible, with hands-on experience programmatically interacting with hardware via Redfish, IPMI, or SSH (Redfish preferred).
• Demonstrated experience supporting production infrastructure, driving incident escalations through to root-cause resolution, and participating in on-call rotations.
• Excellent technical documentation and problem-solving skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own liquid cooling infrastructure from the rack to the facility interface.
• Automate the liquid cooling hardware lifecycle and develop hardware management services.
• Build monitoring systems for pumps, valves, and sensors.
• Partner with facilities teams, server OEMs, and cooling vendors to qualify platforms and troubleshoot issues.
• Serve as the regional escalation point for thermal issues across EMEA and APAC.
