Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in hardware, infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering roles within data centre, cloud, or high‑performance computing environments.
• Deep understanding of server hardware, components, and fleet management technologies.
• Proficiency in Python or Ansible, with hands‑on experience programmatically interacting with server BMCs using Redfish or IPMI (Redfish preferred).
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with hardware vendors and OEMs to evaluate, qualify, and deploy server solutions.
• Proven experience supporting production infrastructure, driving incident escalations through to root‑cause resolution, and participating in on‑call rotations.
• Excellent technical documentation, analytical problem‑solving skills, and fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own server hardware across its lifecycle from provisioning through decommission.
• Automate hardware and firmware lifecycle management services.
• Build monitoring and alerting systems for server fleets.
• Lead qualification and bring‑up for new server platforms.
• Collaborate with data centre operations, vendors, and OEMs; perform root‑cause analysis to drive long‑term fixes.
• Serve as senior contact for hardware escalations across EMEA and APAC; support region bring‑ups and on‑call rotations.
• Provide insights to improve system automation and platform design.
