Job summary
Software Mind is seeking a Senior/Principal Linux Engineer to join a Polish engineering team delivering managed services for a Netherlands client, focusing on on‑premise Linux infrastructures, automation, and virtualization.
You will contribute by day‑to‑day platform support, Linux system maintenance, lifecycle and configuration management, and systems automation, using tools like Ansible, VMware, OpenStack, KVM, and modern observability stacks.
Qualifications
- Experience with Linux distributions (RHEL, OL, Ubuntu) and deployment methods.
- Shell scripting and at least one other language (preferably Python).
- Experience with Ansible to manage systems and processes.
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, OpenStack, KVM, libvirt, qemu).
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Icinga, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix) and logging (OpenSearch, NXLog, GrayLog).
- Experience with IPAM, IAM, basic networking, and system firewalls.
