Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Designer for its AI Agents team. You’ll shape intuitive AI automation experiences across messaging, voice, and email, leading end-to-end design from discovery through prototyping to launch.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Data teams to deliver scalable, trusted customer experiences. You’ll bring 7+ years in SaaS product design, experience with enterprise service workflows, and a portfolio of shipped work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in consumer or B2B SaaS, especially enterprise service workflows or conversational experiences.
• Experience designing generative AI, automation, or AI-assisted workflows with emphasis on transparency and user trust.
• Proactive, autonomous, able to operate in a technical environment and visualize impact on global UX.
• Strong design process, collaboration mindset, and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders.
• Experience creating reusable patterns, frameworks, or design-system contributions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for AI Agents experiences from discovery to launch.
• Use research, usage data, support signals, and market insights to identify opportunities and validate concepts.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Data teams to translate complex capabilities into simple experiences.
• Establish reusable design patterns, principles, and quality standards for consistent end-to-end AI Agents experiences.
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate discovery, ideation, synthesis, and prototyping while ensuring quality and accessibility.
