Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Full-stack Developer to help build a new product using Python/FastAPI on the back end and React/TypeScript on the front end. The stack includes PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, multi-cloud deployment, and Databricks for data processing.

You will design and implement scalable APIs, optimize complex queries, and contribute across the stack, including data engineering with PySpark. Collaboration with clients and internal teams is expected in a hybrid model within Poland.

Qualifications

• 7+ years producing production Python, FastAPI and SQL.
• Strong web app design, API creation and integrations.
• Experience handling high-load databases and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web apps using Python/FastAPI and SQL.
• Improve query performance in production environments.
• Support frontend work with TypeScript and React.
• Collaborate with GenAI engineering tools to speed delivery.
