Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer to build a new product using Python and FastAPI for the backend, React/TypeScript for the frontend, and PostgreSQL/OpenSearch for data management. The product runs in a multi-cloud environment and leverages Databricks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on production experience with Python, FastAPI, and SQL.
• Strong expertise in web application development, API design, and integrations.
• Skilled in managing high-load databases and optimizing query performance.
• Some front-end experience with TypeScript and React, plus openness to full-stack work.
• Practical experience using GenAI engineering tools, Claude Code preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset, comfortable working solo or in a team.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and progress independently in a fast-moving startup setting.
