Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer within the Design Liaison Engineering team to support the Gas Turbine Rotor qualification process. You will collaborate with global supply chain partners, ensure robust qualification milestones, and apply lean and cost-effective manufacturing strategies while maintaining a zero-defect mindset.

The role requires experience with gas turbine hardware, strong problem-solving skills, MSc in Engineering, and proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (ANSYS/NX).

Qualifications

• Relevant experience designing gas turbine hardware or similar machinery.

Responsibilities

• Execute GE Vernova’s Gas Turbine Rotor qualification strategy.
• Apply design templates, processes and QMS standards through qualification milestones.
• Foster a safety-first mindset; STOP WORK when unsafe and resume only when safe.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Quality, GTE NPI Design, MPE, PDE, Sourcing, Materials and others.
• Apply leadership, teamwork and communication to drive quality and continuous improvement.
