GE Vernova is seeking a Steam Turbine Design Liaison Engineer to provide focused, onsite support at a manufacturing facility. You will manage supplier qualification, nonconformance dispositions, and collaborate with a global team to ensure manufacturing quality and design intent.

The role emphasizes technical rigor, innovation, and strong communication with internal and external customers to drive on-time quality and manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings and BoMs.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English and legal right to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused, streamlined, and consistent on-site support at the manufacturing facility.
• Qualify suppliers for parts using new technologies or complex processes.
• Ensure design specifications teach qualification and manufacturing of critical components.
• Dispostion non-conformances with corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Global Supply Chain and Quality.
• Support manufacturing quality improvement initiatives and trend defects.
