Job summary

GE-Vernova- in Poland seeks an experienced Engineer for the HGP DLE Team. You will collaborate with Global Supply Chain to drive improvements, qualify hardware, and implement lean practices to deliver high-quality parts for service centers and customers.

The role requires MSc in Engineering, proficiency with ANSYS/NX, and fluent English. You will interface with design and manufacturing engineers and support cost-reduction initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component.
• Proven technical and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• MSc in Engineering.
• Fluent level of written and spoken English language.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements and disposition deviant hardware quickly while maintaining quality.
• Support hardware qualifications for new processes, changes, or equipment.
• Apply knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to reduce cost and add value.
• Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens & Lean Action Workouts.
• Support Design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering.
• Proactive quality engagement for defect reduction and process improvements.
• Support qualification guidelines, specifications and top manufacturing issues.
• Technology development and qualification of special processes – castings, coating, hole-drilling, etc.
• Cultivate teamwork, positive working environment, and drive urgency and quality with speed.
