Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Warsaw, Poland, within the Design Liaison Engineering team. You will define and execute robust qualification strategies for Hot Gas Path components, collaborating with Global Supply Chain, Quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The role requires MSc in Engineering, GD&T proficiency, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Relevant experience designing gas turbine hardware or similar machinery.
Proven technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
MSc in Engineering.
Basic experience with CAD/CAE packages (ANSYS, NX).
Understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings & BoMs.
General knowledge of the GT engine architecture.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Execute qualification milestones for DLE roles with design templates and QMS standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust qualification processes.
Demonstrate leadership and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing qualification strategies.
Ensure documentation is clear, accurate and traceable for all qualification steps.
Support lean manufacturing and cost-reduction initiatives across suppliers and factories.
