Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to shape and scale an enterprise AI platform, enabling AI-powered financial crime detection and investigation. This is a permanent role that can be based in Helsinki, Tallinn, Stockholm, Copenhagen, or Poland.

The Lead/Senior role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership to drive scalable, secure, and responsible AI solutions across the organisation, aligned with regulatory expectations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in CS/Software/Engineering.
• Experience designing cloud-native enterprise platforms.
• Strong Python and IaC (Terraform) skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve enterprise-grade AI platform capabilities.
• Lead cross-team technical discussions and governance models.
• Define standards, production-readiness, and security for AI solutions.
• Translate AI ambitions into scalable platform roadmaps and guidance.
• Ensure platform resilience, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
