Job summary

Nordea seeks a Senior Forward Deployed AI Scientist to design, build, and scale AI solutions embedded with business units across Nordea. You will partner with engineers, product teams, and data scientists to deliver agentic AI applications while upholding ethical and sustainable development practices.

The role is full-time with hybrid work options across multiple Nordea locations, including Warsaw and other Nordic/Baltic hubs. Strong Python skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale transformative AI applications from concept to production.
• Translate business problems into machine learning statements with cross-functional teams.
• Provide input to the full modeling lifecycle: framing, hypothesis, model selection, experimentation.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and agentic solutions.
• Explore emerging AI methods and build proofs of concept for Nordea use cases.
