Job summary

Nordea Bank Abp is hiring an AI Gateway Engineer to design, build and operate an enterprise AI Gateway. You will extend API platforms to support LLMs, MCP, and A2A patterns with IaC-driven automation, secure governance, and reusable gateway patterns.

You will work closely with architects, cybersecurity, data governance, and cloud platform teams to ensure compliant, production-ready solutions. Hybrid role with up to 40% remote work, in Poland, Denmark, or Finland.

Qualifications

• Hands-on platform engineering in enterprise environments.
• Experience with API gateway technologies and Kong or similar.
• Strong Terraform and IaC practices.
• Kubernetes and Helm for deploying gateway components.
• CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and automated releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate AI Gateway capabilities.
• Develop secure gateway patterns for LLM, MCP, and A2A.
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code and automated provisioning.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and source control workflows.
• Configure gateway policies for governance and developer focus.
• Spearhead monitoring with observability tools and FinOps practices.
• Collaborate with architects, security, risk, and compliance teams.
