Job summary

IG Group is seeking a KYC Associate in Krakow to join our hybrid team. You will support end-to-end onboarding of retail clients, verify documentation, and perform KYC checks in line with policy and regulatory requirements.

You will act as a client-facing contact for onboarding queries and complaints, escalate complex cases, and maintain audit-ready records. Prior experience in financial services or KYC/AML is a plus, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing role; up to 1 year in KYC/AML or financial services is a plus.
• Willingness and aptitude to quickly learn KYC/AML principles and onboarding processes.
• Confident, clear communicator with strong attention to detail and good judgement on escalation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ability to manage KPIs and SLAs.
• Exposure to KYC/AML systems or case management tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end onboarding of new retail clients and verify documentation for KYC checks.
• Act as a client-facing point of contact for onboarding and KYC queries and complaints, with escalation as needed.
• Identify exceptions and discrepancies in the account opening process and escalate to senior colleagues.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of KYC checks and client interactions.
• Adhere to KPIs, SLAs and quality standards; assist with quality checks and process improvements.
• Stay updated on AML/KYC policies and apply changes to daily work; flag risks or system issues.
