Qualifications
- Solid background in power electronics and control
- Hands-on experience applying AI/ML to engineering problems
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, and/or PLECS
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-enabled software workflows for power electronics design, simulation, and validation.
- Drive design automation using AI/ML, optimization, and surrogate modelling.
- Validate approaches for design space exploration, performance prediction, and system-level optimization.
- Build AI-assisted simulation pipelines integrating ML frameworks with MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or PLECS.
- Collaborate with Hitachi Energy teams to ground AI solutions in practical challenges.
