Michael Page is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to join a growing finance team in Poland. You will deliver high-quality financial analyses, support performance management, and provide decision-support insights across operations and management teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, or similar finance function.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modelling.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support business leaders with financial insights and recommendations to improve performance.
• Prepare regular management reports, profitability analyses, and business performance reviews.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze results, variances, trends, and key performance drivers.
• Support investment evaluations, business cases, and CAPEX projects.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other departments to support decision-making.
• Develop and improve reporting processes, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses and presentations for local and international management teams.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Business Controlling, Commercial Finance, or a similar finance function.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail combined with strong business understanding.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Knowledge of cost controlling and profitability analysis.
• Understanding of production costing and operational finance.
